Here or There

Here I am large and in charge at 31 weeks
(this was taken yesterday)

Last time I talked to Seth's dad he made a comment about not seeing the belly for awhile so, Philip this is for you. Since you don't get to come visit with Dallise this weekend and since I don't think I'll be seeing you till after this little one comes. I'm sure it will get much bigger in the next 9 weeks so I'll try to keep you updated.

I was going to write some thoughts about this baby that's on it's way but honestly I'm not sure what I'm thinking. I'm excited to meet her but right now there are so many other things happening in our life that I don't know where this baby comes in. I hasn't hit me yet. I haven't done a thing to prepare for this baby. We don't need since we are having another girl. It's just a matter of getting things out and getting them set up and getting clothes washed and in drawers. The problem is I don't know if we will be in our house or in an apartment. We are hoping to have our house sold and be settled into an apartment before this baby comes. But that's what we want, who knows what God has planned.

I'm the type of person that needs lots of preparation for things. I'm not as good at going with the flow. I want to know where we are going and what we are doing. I tend to think of any and every situation that I could be put in so that I'm prepared for anything. So, being in the situation that I'm in right now you would think that I would be freaking out but surprisingly I'm not.

I know it is only by the grace of God that I have such a peace about things. My mind hasn't been wondering. I've been focused on what I need to do here and now. When I do start to worry I've been able to give it to God and leave it with him, in return there is a peace that passes all understanding. I know that this baby will come. I know that there will be a place to bring her home to. Either here or there it will be home because it will be where Seth, Jericho and I are. Right now that's all that matters to me.

I owe you.....

...a birthday post.

So, here it is, mostly in pictures form. We had a wonderful day at Springdale Farm, just the 3 of us, well 4 of if you count the baby on board! Jericho couldn't have enjoyed herself more, it couldn't have been nicer out and Mommy and daddy couldn't have been more thrilled celebrating their 2 year old! These were all taken on Jericho's actual birthday and are my favorite out of the bunch although I got a ton more, like one of Jericho hugging each and every animal on the farm. The girl is not afraif of anything. I hope there will be another post to follow, sometimes soon, of when my family came up a week later to celebrate with us.

She's TWO!

Where ya been?

So it's been well over a month since I've posted last and a lot has happened

  • Seth and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. I'm so in love with that man. I can't believe I've had the privilege of being married to him for 5 years now. It's been wonderful! In the last 5 years I've learned so much about him, myself, God and marriage. I've still got a lot to learn but I'm so glad I get to learn with Seth by my side!
  • My baby girl is now 2 years old.
  • I am now 31 weeks and well on my way in this pregnancy. It's crazy how fast things have gone. I don't know if I'm ready.
  • The internet at the house is still not working, hence no posts.
  • We have decided to put our house up for sale. (the main reason we haven't worried about fixing the internet issue) Seth is still the youth pastor at EGC and we are staying in the area. We are just hoping to sell our house so we can pay off our student loans (debt free here we come!) and have an emergency fund saved. This will help us get on our way to baby step #4.
  • We are having a garage sale this weekend Fri & Sat Sept 25 & 26 from 9am-4pm. If your local come on over. We'd love to see you! (If ya don't know where I live email me and I'll send you the address)
  • Between celebrating anniversaries and birthdays, painting shutters, cleaning decks, getting ready for the garage sale (this friday and sat 9-4 come on out), weeding & mulching flower beds, canning, freeze, and tilling up gardens, and trying to figure out where we are going to be living when this baby comes there hasn't been much time for internet so....as much as I've missed ya honestly I've hardly noticed that it's been over a month.
  • Time is flying by.
