NoteTo Self

Don't dress your daughter, that's struggling slightly in the hair department, in an adorable blue and brown dress type outfit and let her carry around her blue blanket unless you are prepared for her to be referred to as a boy, multiple times.

I wasn't prepared but it's okay. I'm over it.

Yeah, I really had to opt for pretty stuff...

One pair of overalls (with flowers) and an orange shirt (with an ice cream cone) had to be kept apart after the "What's HIS name?" deal at the grocery store.

Ugh. Babies w/o hair. Oh well...

One day those beautiful wisp of golden blonde hair will sweep across her angelic face, and cascade down over her shoulders with elegance.

No mom wants to hear their daughter referred to as a little boy, but believe me, hair or not it will happen. Alyssa had swirls of hair everywhere as a one year old, and I swear she was still referred to as a boy by strangers when she wore blue.

Give our kisses to our precious niece!

That's too funny Tarah....don't forget to let her be a cute tomboy if she wants too as well. She probably felt really comfortable in her blue outfit....not having to wear a dress and all. :-)
